Meet Our Senior Back-End Developer, Jason Campbell!
1. What’s your job title at ServiceCore?
Senior Back-End Developer, I work on a lot of the background stuff on ServiceCore.
2. Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Where you’re from: Central Florida, I grew up near the theme parks and spent a lot of time fishing, dodging hurricanes and diving.
Anything about your family, pets, etc: My best-dog-ever Zen! I got her as a rescue two years ago and she’s been a 1bg resident ever since! She’s an anxious little dog, but she’s sweet as can be.
3. What brought you to Colorado?
My family moved out here in 2005, when I was 17, and I haven’t wanted to move since! The snow, the mountains and the climate are so perfect out here, I would have wound up out west no matter what.
4. Favorite thing about Colorado?
Easily the mountains! The curvy roads are a blast to ride the motorcycles on, the forests are amazing to hike through, and I can’t spend enough nights camped out under the stars.
5. What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?
I mostly play a lot of video games, Red Dead Redemption 2 has had my full attention since it came out, and before that was a binge of the latest World of Warcraft expansion.
6. What other hobbies do you enjoy?
I spend a lot of time working on and riding my motorcycles. Moto-camping is something I’ve been doing more of, and I have a big trip from California, to Washington, over to Yellowstone and back planned for the next summer!
7. What’s the craziest thing you’ve done?
My friends and I used to drag a car hood behind a golf cart, and we would ride the hood and see who could stay on the longest. Like redneck dry-land wakeboarding.
8. Fun fact about yourself?
None of the facts about me are fun.
9. Anything you’d like to add?
Zen is the best dog around! And ServiceCore is an amazing place to call home.
