ServiceCore is excited to announce the release of many new features during the month of September. In this blog, you’ll get the overview of all the new and improved features that will help you better run your business.

September 2018 New Features

Click to Pay: This new feature allows your customers to pay an invoice online. You can enable or disable “click to pay” for each invoice. The invoice email contains a link for the customer that will open up a website that has your company information, invoice details and payment options. Once the payment is processed, the invoice will be automatically marked as paid in ServiceCore and your customer will receive a receipt. Find out more on Click to Pay

Job Disclaimer: You can now add a job disclaimer to all of your jobs by going to “Settings”, click on “Company” and choose the “Default Messages” tab. The disclaimer will appear on all jobs, printed service tickets and the mobile app.

Credit Memo Email: You can now send an email confirmation after creating a customer credit memo.

Schedule Map Hover Icon: On the schedule map, there is a correlation between each job on the left and the pins on the map. This will make it easier to improve daily routes and find jobs that are very close together on the map.

Technician with Billing: We have removed all accounting reports for the permission role “Tech – Billing”. A user with this role can still invoice and receive a payment, but can not see the accumulated sales data.

Customer Payment Term: The payment term used and saved when creating invoices can now be viewed from the customer detail screen.

Signature on Jobs: You can now have your customers sign a work order on any mobile device using our ServiceCore app. Saving the signature will automatically capture date/time and GPS location. You can see a customer’s signature by viewing a completed job or printing the service ticket.

Touch-Id/Face-Id: Our mobile app is now easier to use. You can log in using the build in touch-id or face-id functionality. Just make sure you download the latest app.

Invoice Creation – Ability to Associate Rental: When creating an invoice, you can now associate a rental that has the same customer and service address. This will allow you to create rentals from anywhere, but you can still reference a specific rental.

QuickBooks Desktop Sync 2.0: We now offer a more efficient, robust and safer version of our QuickBooks Desktop sync. We will not switch any customers over to the new sync automatically. We will contact every QB Desktop user individually. This upgrade will be at no cost. If you would like to find out more, please contact our support team.

Reassign Job: In the user settings, you can re-assign a user’s jobs with one easy click.

Aging Report Filter: If your company is using divisions, you can now filter your aging report for each of them.

Product Categories: You can now categorize your inventory by going into the settings, choosing the inventory and the sub-tab of categories. Structuring your inventory will help you easily find specific inventory when you create a rental. It will also help you identify the rental type on the schedule when you’re dispatching jobs.
