In the month of August, ServiceCore released a ton of new features! Find out how you can use these features to enhance your business and workflow. If there are any features you’d like to see incorporated into our software, just let us know and we’ll see if we can fit it into our development schedule.
August 2018 New Features
Multiple Email Addresses: You can now save more than one email address per customer. Emailing an invoice, credit memo or payment receipts to multiple email addresses is possible as well.
Gross Sales Report: The Gross Sales Report offers a new tab with more detailed information about your income.
User Settings: Deactivated users are hidden by default. If you would like to see any deactivated users simply use the filter option.
Update to Mobile App: The city name of a service location has been added to the job list view.
Tax Rate Display: The tax rates are now ordered alphabetically in the drop down selection of an invoice.
New Filters for Rentals: On the rental page, there’s now a filter that lets you look for a rental using the rental start and end dates.
Edit Service Reminders: You can now edit any service reminder!
Customer Job Tab: On the customer detail page, in the job tab, you can now easily view more job data.
Aging Report: The pagination for the aging report has been removed, this allows you to easier apply filters and see an overview of you totals and data.
New Smart Banner: If you are using ServiceCore on a mobile device but with a browser, you will now see a friendly reminder that you can also download our new and improved ServiceCore app.
Internal Site Notes: You now have the option to save internal notes to sites, which will be hidden from the job view and service tickets.
Deactivate Tax Rates: Tax rates can now be deactivated, so they are still available for historical invoices but not for new ones.
Receive payment: You can now receive a payment for more than 10 invoices.
Site Filter on Job Table: When viewing the job tab on the customer or site details page, you now have a filter option for the site address.
Job Attachments: You can now add or remove attachments directly from the job table by expanding the job section for more detail.
Display Customer Credit Memo Balance: Besides viewing the paid, unpaid and overdue balance on the customer detail page, there is now a balance for customers that have an unapplied credit memo.
Assigning Services to Inventory: You can now assign multiple services at once to an inventory product. Go into the Settings, click on the Inventory tab, view a product, in the drop down called Add Services you can find the “Assign Services” button, which opens a dialog with multiple services to assign at once.
Recent Customer Activity: On the customer detail page, you can now view the customer’s recent activity, e.g. last completed job and last invoice amount without having to search in the tabs below.
